Who we are and how we cook, at Urban Punjab, Melton.
Our story begins in the villages of Punjab, where food is a celebration of family, tradition, and togetherness. Inspired by those roots, our founder Mr. Amrit Pal Singh set out to share the bold, authentic flavors of North India with the world.
At Urban Punjab, we stay true to our heritage — slow-cooked curries, classic tandoori dishes, and hand-ground spices — all made with love and care, just like back home.

Our function room is available for private events, and we cater and take bulk orders for celebrations of every size.

From start to finish, our visit to urban Punjab was a delightful experience. The warm, cozy atmosphere made us feel welcome, and the staff was exceptionally friendly (I think her name is HARGUN ) and efficient. Every dish was flavorful and left us wanting more. We'll definitely be returning to explore more of their delicious menu.
I recently visited the Urban Punjab Restaurant with my family and had an amazing experience. The ambience was warm and welcoming, the customer service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious & fresh, full of flavour and perfectly cooked. Enjoyed every single dish from Entree to Main course and Dessert. I will definitely be back soon. Highly recommend!
